About WeatherMind 🌀

• WeatherMind helps accelerate insurance pay-out following natural disasters, so that victims can rebuild their lives faster.
• Our AI-powered solution scans all climate claims notified to the insurer. Then, depending on the severity of the claim, we would either process it end-to-end (up to 70% of total volumes) or we would flag it for a prioritised human intervention.

Position Overview 🔍

We are looking for a self-driven individual who is eager to apply their previous experience and contribute significantly to our project.

Responsibilities 🚀

• Suggest, design and implement innovative approaches to solve our different use cases leveraging state-of-the-art Computer Vision models (ViT, multi-modal LLMs).
• Implement workflows and end-to-end pipelines, overseeing data preparation, training and evaluation.
• Effectively communicate results internally (written and oral) in a clear and concise manner, ensuring transparency and understanding to all stakeholders.
• Take the lead by suggesting improvements to our solutions, questioning the way things are done, and proposing practical alternatives.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in deep learning and computer vision.

Requirements ✅

Basic Qualifications

• At least a Master’s degree in the fields of Machine Learning and/or Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least one professional experience in Computer Vision and/or NLP.
